Join PEEC and the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation (LEWF) and eat like a bear! We will host a buffet-style dinner featuring food that makes up a black bear’s diet for a delicious, fun, and educational evening. Food will be served to educate attendees about how black bears acquire food in the wild and in our own backyards.

The bear buffet will be a zero-waste event again this year! The nature center will provide reusable utensils and will compost any food waste from this event. Reducing our waste and properly managing it is better for local black bears and our planet!
